Account Manager

As an Account Manager at Direct One, you will play a crucial role in managing client accounts, coordinating printing and direct mail projects, and ensuring the successful delivery of services. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide expert guidance on printing and mailing solutions, and ensure projects are completed on time and aligned with customers’ needs. This role requires excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering superior customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client accounts and serve as the main point of contact for all communications.

  • Work closely with clients to understand their printing and direct mail needs and provide tailored solutions.

  • Coordinate printing and mailing projects, including managing timelines and quality control.

  • Ensure compliance with USPS mailing rules, regulations, and requirements.

  • Communicate project updates, timelines, and milestones to clients and internal teams.

  • Conduct thorough proofreading and quality checks to ensure accuracy and adherence to client specifications.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including production, design, and mailing departments, to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients, addressing any inquiries, concerns, or issues promptly and effectively.

  • Maintain accurate records of client communications, project details, and billing information.

  • Strive to exceed client expectations and build long-lasting relationships based on trust and reliability.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of account management experience (required).

  • Experience in direct mail, and commercial printing, a plus

  • Understanding of offset and digital printing processes a plus

  • Knowledge of USPS mailing rules, regulations, and requirements a plus

  • Highly developed organizational, multitasking, and time management skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment with compressed deadlines.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality and accuracy.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).

  • Experience with Virtual Systems MailShop/Midnight is a plus.

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as needed.

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
